Tucker Company (also known as J.A. Tucker Company) was founded in 1961. We are a truckload oriented domestic freight company, and have been serving agencies within the Federal Government for over a quarter century.

We can help you with most of your surface transportation needs, and are cleared for most freight other than explosives and ammunition.
Tucker Company has provided disaster relief work for Federal authorities during natural and manmade disasters including: Hurricanes Bonnie, Bertha, Charlie, Dennis and George, and responded immediately after the 9/11 attacks in New York, with the first truck arriving on 9/12.
Over the years we have provided freight services for virtually anything you can imagine for our Government customers, including: 60K loaders; firetrucks; de-icers; generators; humvees; refueling trucks; 40’ ocean buoys; helicopters; boats; tax forms; pennies; nickels; Smithsonian Museum property; Post Office displays; motorcycles to the Atlanta Olympics; disaster and emergency supplies; various department shelters and temporary offices. Under rigid time constraints, we provided the manpower, equipment, vans and storage for the closing of the Defense Orthopedic Footwear Clinic (DOFC) when the clinic was relocated to New York.
