Heavy and Specialized Equipment & Superloads
In addition to our “legal” flatbed and step-deck services, we are one of the only nationwide Heavy Haul transportation providers.
This is our oldest service. Since 1961 Tucker has been providing specialized, heavy and overdimensional cargo transportation services to American industry. Today there are precious few national contacts for heavy and specialized moves.
Tucker can be a valuable ally for anyone who needs to move high, wide and/or heavy loads. Tucker Company’s first years were spent serving the industrial rigging companies in the Northeast, as they were hired to dismantle Northern industrial plants, and move the heavy plants and machinery to the Midwest and South.
Ever since 1961 we have been the best coordinators of these types of shipments. We are pro’s at assembling as many as hundreds of trucks to meet very tight crane and crew schedules. We carefully coordinate drivers, riggers and crane operators in order to minimize wasted time and money.
